Decatur County General Hospital warns 24K patients of data breach involving EHR server

Decatur County General Hospital has warned 24,000 patients that their information may have been exposed during a cyberattack on a server that housed the hospital’s EHRs. The Tennessee hospital was notified of the attack by CPSI, the EHR vendor that supports the server, but a company official said the attack has “nothing to do with CPSI.” …read more
